Program Details at a Glance
- Days: 3 days a week (on alternate days)
- Duration: Approx. 4.5 to 5 months (based on group pace)
- Classes: Around 45 to 50 sessions
- Class Length: 30 to 40 minutes (just right for those young attention spans!)
- Mode: Online via ZOOM
What Your Child Will Learn
The Reading Ladder Level 2 program is a deep dive into the magical world of phonics and early reading. Here's what we cover:
- Recap of 3 to 7-letter words – because revision is key!
- Introduction to the five magic vowel sounds
- Mastery of the silent “e” or Magic “e”
- Digraphs & Diphthongs – decoding trickier sounds
- Tricky Words – those rule-breakers of the English language
- Long vowel and short vowel sounds
- Worksheets – hands-on practice for reinforcement
- Storybook Reading & Comprehension – developing confident, independent readers and much more
As children begin to fluently decode with Jolly Phonics, we shift our focus towards comprehension—because understanding is where the real magic happens!
